A popular choice for those getting ink done is the animal tattoo. And there are various reasons for getting an animal tattoo. It might be used to commemorate a beloved pet or simply because the bearer is fond of a particular animal. Around the world, billions of dollars are spent on pets and many people consider them to be members of the family. So, it’s quite natural that these animals that mean so much to our lives would become inked into our skin. Another possible reason for an animal tattoo is the symbolism behind the tattoo. The tattoo may mark a turning point in our life or used as a symbol of our innate nature. Still other people feel an especially close relation to certain animal species. They just feel a connection to certain animals, like certain Native American tribes of North America that had totem animals. These animals were chosen for the unique characteristics or disposition. A wolf may symbolize loyalty or an owl the epitome of wisdom, while a bear may be the ultimate symbol of strength. Regardless of the motivation behind an animal tattoo, they can make beautiful and special additions to any body of work.
I like animal tattoos. Especially ones that are done well like this one. It’s a small family of lions. A dad, a mom and two cubs. The Lion of course is the sign of the King Of The Jungle, so I would have to assume that they guy wearing this one is trying to say something about himself. So be careful before you tangle with this cat, because he just might bite.
