I have always been a big fan of armband tattoos. I think I like them so much because they seem like a tattoo that a "tough" guy would get. I always wanted to get an armband tattoo that had a ring of skulls, barbed wire or even a castle wall. But, I do like the armband tattoo in the picture, though it’s not really my style. The tribal motif in this design is another tough guy type tattoo, but I feel that just too many people are getting these armband tattoos here lately. I know that I personally must have seen about a thousand of these tribal armband tattoos just in the last year. And it seems like every young guy I see is talking about getting one of these armband tattoos. I personally would like to get a design that was a little more unique and original. But, maybe that’s just me. But, there is one positive thing that I have to say about this armband tattoo. The artist who did it took his time and really lined up the design correctly and made sure that the tattoo was symmetrical. I know that a lot of people will say big deal, but you can’t even imagine how many of these tattoo are misaligned or not symmetrical. A lot more then should be, let me tell you.

Armband tattoos have become more and more common over the last fifteen years or so and there are many different styles of them. Some go all the way around the arm and others, like this, only partially go around the arm. But almost all of them look good to me. It’s just enough ink on the body to show every body that you have a bit of a wild side to you.
