Butterfly Tattoo

I am told that the butterfly tattoo is the hottest design for females to get worldwide. The pure beauty of the butterfly and the dramatic transformation from caterpillar to butterfly has led to butterfly images having taken on many different meanings. In some parts of Europe they symbolize birth and in China they symbolize rebirth. Likewise, the Maya culture widely believed that butterflies were in fact the spirits of the dead returning to earth. And of course these are only a few. But no matter what you may think they stand for, a butterfly tattoo is a good one to choose and it almost always looks good.
The butterfly tattoo comes in a very wide range of styles and colors. A range so big that there are nearly endless examples to look at out there so make sure you take some time really looking around before you settle on the one you want. You’ll be upset with yourself if you settle on one and then a few days after you get it, happen to see one that you like better. This happens all the time. There are so many choices that it can hardly be helped but really taking your time is still the wisest advice you can get.
Butterfly Tattoo

Here’s a cute little butterfly tattoo that appears as if it was fairly new at the time of this photograph as the skin still seems to be very tender. But it’s a very nice tattoo with a string of three different butterflies who are winging their way to somewhere only known to them. I am not sure of the meaning of this, but it’s interesting to think about.
