Dove Tattoos
Dove tattoos are an elegant design that has a lot of symbolic meaning. The symbolism of dove tattoos can have a variety of different interpretations. They are most often the symbol of peace. And this can be peace as it relates to your loved ones, your neighborhood or even the entire world. Now, the bearer of this dove tattoo has decided not to buck conventions and instead chose a design that is in my opinion quite boring. Really, this person could have changed the motif up a little bit. I mean they could have gotten a dove tattoo that had some color in it or was depicted in a different position other then the standard flying dove position. Or they could have drawn it carrying an object such as a peace symbol, Just not the standard olive branch that is seen in other dove tattoos. That has also been way overdone. Maybe I’m just being overly picky, but I really don’t think so. Everybody deserves a tattoo that is unique to them and can’t be seen on the flash wall of every tattoo parlor from LA to New York. Get a true representation of your self and display your individuality if your going to get a dove tattoo.

People seem to like bird tattoos in general so it’s no surprise to see a dove tattoo. Throughout the ages the dove has been known to stand for all that is good and clean and chaste. So it is easy to understand why someone would want one of these. But this one is not that slickly done. I have seen much better dove tattoos before.
