The dragon tattoo patterns in the picture can give the average tattoo seeker a good idea of the wide range of designs that are available to someone looking to get a dragon tattoo. I don’t see any Western dragon tattoos but I see all the rest of the cultural dragons available. There are Chinese and Japanese designs which are a pretty good representation of the Eastern Dragons. Let’s take a quick look at both of these designs, shall we? It is a popular belief that Japanese dragon tattoos are symbol of freedom, power and kindness. Hence, it is a custom for the people living in Japan to get dragon tattoo done on their body parts, typically the arms. The Japanese dragons are characterized by serpent-like bodies, small legs, three toes, four claws and are usually wingless. The other type of dragon tattoo is the Chinese dragon. You can find a wide variety of Chinese dragon tattoos. Among them, the most common is the Horned Dragon, which is believed to produce rain. Other types of dragon tattoos include Winged Dragon , Celestial Dragon, Spiritual Dragon, Hidden Treasure Dragon, Coiling Dragon, Yellow Dragon, Underground Dragon and Dragon King. And the beautiful part of these dragon tattoos is that they can be done in a wide variety of colors and don’t have to done exactly like the ones in the picture.

As far as dragon tattoos go this is one of the nicer ones I’ve seen lately. I think it is a chinese dragon tattoo but of course, I can’t be sure. It’s very well defined and shaded and just looks great. This is the kind of dragon I would seriously consider getting myself. Very nice dragon tattoo here.
