Girly tattoos come in all shapes and sizes. They range from the classic heart designs to flowers and even cartoon characters. They tend to be clearly feminine or at least cute. And the locations where these girly tattoos are as varied as the motifs. They are usually placed on the wrist, the lower back or the shoulder blade. But, no matter the location they always tend to be an accentuation to a women’s natural features. What’s a better place for a girly tattoo such as a rose or cartoon character then on the beautiful and soft unblemished skin of a young women? Take the tattoo in the picture for instance. It’s a simple flower design that is crossed almost with a tribal design. Though, it’s a little more stark then your usual girly tattoo it does the job it was designed for quite well. The dark design is a perfect contrast on her supple and milky white skin. Of course a little color could be added to make the flower petals pop a little more but it’s still quite a striking example of what can be done in the right context. This girly tattoo may be a little plain but it’s still an excellent piece of work.
More and more girly tattoos are showing up these days and some of them I just don’t get. Like this jaw less skull with a bow on its head and little hearts below it and above it. I am not at all sure what this could possibly stand for or symbolize. I think the best part of this girly tattoo is that it’s on a foot where it won’t be seen a lot.
