Their is probably no more easily recognizable design than the heart tattoo. And it’s symbolism is one that’s easily identified by even novices. The heart tattoo represents true love and purity. It also can also be used to memorialize a loved one. There are many different types of heart tattoos available to those who are looking to get one. There is the familiar burning heart of Christianity, often seen in painting of the Virgin Mary. There is also the classic standard of the heart with a mom banner across the middle of it. That is a design that has even become part of popular culture. But, their are also less recognizable heart tattoos designs. These include stars and hearts which signify happiness and favorable conditions. And there is also the favorite tattoo of patriots, the heart shaped American flag. This symbol represents a great love for one’s country. The last two examples of great heart tattoo designs are the golden heart and the black here. With the former it indicates a love of God and a yearning for self consciousness. The latter is usually one that commemorates death as it’s meaning is generally thought to illustrate grief or mourning.
