I like hip tattoos on girls because they can be very sexy and I think this one is. It’s only some little stars, around a bigger star, but it’s still looks nice and there is always something special an mystical about stars. There’s not particularly clever artwork or anything like that here. With hip tattoos like this it’s the simplicity of it that makes it nice.

When your considering the location for your next tattoo you have your entire body as a choice. Some people prefer tattoos on their arms and wrist, while other may prefer back or abdomen pieces. But, a perfect location for your next work of art maybe on your hip. Yes, a hip tattoo is not only a cool place for a tattoo but it’s also very easily concealed. Take the hip tattoo in the photograph. It’s a cherry blossom tree that starts out at the hips and moves to just underneath the armpit. As you can see, the area is very sensual for obvious reasons and can be a great place for a tattoo. One other thing to watch out for is the tattoo after care. Since the hip bone is in a place where pants will often rub special precaution needs to take place to avoid excessive wear on the area after you have gotten the tattoo ink done. It can take longer to heal due to this friction and the amount of movement in the area. But, that really shouldn’t be a deterrent to getting your hip tattoo. When executed well and properly cared for it can be a wonderful addition to your body artwork.
