Matching Tattoos

A popular practice for people nowadays is for friends to get a matching tattoo. Perhaps the name of a shared city or a symbol that has significant meanings to both persons involved. It’s also popular among family members. Perhaps getting the family name immortalized on each other’s skin. These are things that can take a simple tattoo design and add extra meaning to it. But, there are a few words of caution that one should heed before getting a matching tattoo. The first thing is how long your relationship is going to last with the other person. Imagine how disheartening to get a shared design with one of your friends or your life partner and then six months down the road you guys hate each others guts! This often happens when lovers get matching tattoos. Everything is fine until the relationship ends and then one, or both partners have to go through the trouble and expense of getting the matching tattoos removed or covered. So, as with any tattoo, but especially so with a matching tattoo, one should put careful thought and consideration into it before even starting the process. That can save you a lot of grief, and maybe even a little cash a down the road.
Matching Tattoos

A group of three matching tattoos, or are they? Look again and look closer. Each person has the same round tattoo with three colored flowers inside of it, but each tattoo has the different colored flowers in a different position. So these matching tattoos are not matching at all. They are very, very close but not exactly alike.
