Here we have a sheet of images showing us a dozen or so pictures of religious tattoos, or what could certainly be religious tattoos. They cover everything from a few different crosses to hands in prayer mode to the mother Mary and to the head of Jesus as he hangs on the cross wearing his crown of thorns and paying for the sins of all mankind. Religious tattoos can just be cool looking tattoos like many others but they should not really be taken so lightly. Some eighty percent of the world’s population believes in some sort of religion and a God and that means if you do not, or if you intend to mock religion you are certainly going to be in the minority. I’m not saying you have to believe or anything else, just respect what others believe and everybody will get along okay, for the most part.
At the risk of saying the obvious, religious tattoos are usually sought out by religious people. Not really people who are stout practitioners but people who do have a deep rooted belief, nonetheless. The kind of people who believe that at some time there will be a judgment day and they will have to pay for their sins.
There have probably been more religious tattoos than any other kind in history. The five samples here range from crosses, the name of Jesus, and even something that looks like a fish, which I do not get the significance of. But if a religious person wants a tattoo, they can’t go wrong getting one with Jesus and or a cross on it.
