rose tattoos
Some of my favorite tattoos are rose tattoos and that is for sure. This one is a very nice one. One that was apparently just completed as they took this picture while the skin was still very irritated. The picture also says free hand on it and I have to say that if this rose tattoo was done freehand then this really is a good piece of work. I personally cannot imagine creating such a thing with no drawing of any kind on the skin first and that’s what they mean by free hand. Good stuff, huh?
Deep red color roses have been historically linked with blood and of course then they have been linked with life. And of course as the ages passed they also became known as a symbol of both love and beauty. A lot of rose tattoos show the rose solo but other dress it up with leaves or a long stem. And there can be other color roses as well, each having their own meanings. There’s white for innocence and purity, yellow for friendship, pink for grace and black for death. And so the rose can symbolize love, life and death.

rose tattoos
I have seen a lot of rose tattoos in my time and there really is nothing special about this one. The artwork is okay and the execution is okay but that’s about all I can say about it. If you want a tattoo that is going to stand out you need one with some artistic flare, and this really does not have any of that. Like many other rose tattoos, it’s just too plain and simple.
