Wrist Tattoos

Wrist tattoos can both be intriguing and controversial. Many employers frown upon tattoos placed on the hands and wrist. And the military outright prohibits their use. But, if they are properly done they can be a pleasant addition to your collection of body art. Anything from shield knots, to eight balls and even sanskrit letters can be incorporated into a wrist tattoo. Some folks like to have their wrist tattoo on top of their wrist in combination with a tattoo sleeve or hand tattoos. And there is also a rising popularity of wrist tattoos among the rich and famous. Since there is little soft tissue around the wrist you would expect this to be a painful tattoo, though many people who have gotten them say it isn’t. Another thing to consider before getting a wrist tattoo is how your going to feel about it later on. Over a quarter of those who have gotten wrist tattoos have regretted their tattoo decision after the fact, so consider this before you get one. The tattoo in the picture is a perfect example of this type of tattoo. The phrase "Petit Lapin" is French for little rabbit. It’s perhaps a nice comment on the personality of the bearer or maybe her nickname.
